THE POTENTIAL OF FRAGMENTS AND LOOSE THREADS AT HARN MUSEUM
Gallery Conversation:
The Potential of Fragments and Loose Threads
Sean Miller, UF School of Art + Art History Associate Professor of Sculpture and Bethany Taylor, UF School of Art + Art History Associate Professor of Drawing discuss the ontological and ecological ideas that fuel their work. Might temporal approaches to art making inform our understanding of the natural world and human nature? Miller and Taylor will introduce the gathered fragments and connected threads in their work(s) as systems for mapping impermanence and generating a nuanced understanding of our world (and beyond).
This conversation is offered in conjunction with the "53rd SA+AH Studio Faculty Art Exhibition": harn.ufl.edu/53facultyexhibition.
